Dr. Laurie J Maralack accepted Christ at the age of 12 and received a call into full- time ministry. He is the fourth child of seven PK’s raised by Ps LJ Maralack snr (85yrs) from AFM Church Paarl.

Educational Experience:

Dr. Laurie J Maralack is a Social Work graduate, with 26 yrs experience. He has been a Senior Manager of SASSA North West for 10yrs.
​
He is in possession of a Post Graduate Diploma from RAU as well a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling, Faith Bible College & Doctorate in Counseling from Trinity Bible University.
​
Furthermore, his association with RAU granted him studies in Europe with Universities of Gent and Antwerpen. Out of this international exchange he was honoured to be a contributing author of a chapter in a prescribed text book on Social Security for universities worldwide.
​
Since that time, both his educational experience and ministry experience have led him to this time and this leadership opportunity.

Ministry Experience:
​
Dr. Laurie J Maralack planted a church in Mahikeng 18yrs ago as a bi-vocaional pastor.
​
At an international level he works with Korean Church leader Ps Yoon and organise trips for SADC pastors and wives to attend international conferences twice a year in prayer mountain in South Korea.
​
He was also requested to assist with Korean Church with the building of 100 church in South Africa of which 40 buildings are near to completion.
​
Basilea Bible Institute was founded by Dr. Laurie J Maralack and 150 pastors received training over the past 6 years.
​
As an executive member of Mahikeng Ministers Fellowship, Dr. Laurie J Maralack plays a pivitol role in city-wide gospel outreaches amongst other hosting Dag Heward-Mills.
​
Burdened for souls and the revival to come to Mahikeng the Maralacks resigned from Public service 2years ago and to launch CRC Mahikeng.

Dr. Julia Scholtz-Maralack is a phenomenal wife and mother. She is a true servant who loves to use her gifts of teaching and helps to serve those whom God brings into her life. She grew up on a Moravian Mission Station near Piketberg. She is a registered Social Worker and held senior management positions within the North West Social Development Administration.
